Forest skipper feeling optimistic

Nottingham Forest skipper Paul McKenna hopes to be fit for Saturday's clash with Norwich.

McKenna sat out last weekend's draw at Reading after feeling his hamstring during the warm-up.

"I felt a slight twinge in training on Thursday and when I felt it again during the warm-up it was only sensible I pulled out," he said.

"I hope to be fit to face Norwich but I won't push it if the medical staff aren't 100% confident.

"We've got a two-week international break after the Norwich game and it would be daft to take any unnecessary risks."
