Foxes land emergency keeper

Leicester have signed Wolves goalkeeper Carl Ikeme on a month-long emergency loan deal.

The 24-year-old arrives as cover for Chris Weale, who suffered a shoulder injury during the defeat to Burnley at Turf Moor last Saturday.

Conrad Logan started the 2-1 Carling Cup win at Leeds on Tuesday night but they only have young Hungarian keeper Robert Ambrusics as back-up.

Ikeme has made 13 appearances for Wolves but has been on loan at Accrington, Stockport, Charlton, Sheffield United and QPR.

He could make his debut in the Championship encounter against Reading at the Walkers Stadium on Saturday.
