Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a tough draw for their Champions League bow after being paired with current European champions Inter Milan.

Spurs and Rafael Benitez's club will be joined by German side Werder Bremen and Steve McClaren's old side FC Twente.

Good friends Sir Alex Ferguson and Walter Smith will face each other in Group C, as Manchester United and Rangers are joined by Valencia and Turkish side Bursaspor.

Eduardo will renew old friendships as his new club Shakhtar Donetsk will meet Arsenal. The other teams in that group are debutants Braga and Serbian side Partizan.

Finally, Chelsea striker Didier Drogba will return to an old club after the Blues were drawn French champions Marseille. Spartak Moscow and Slovakian's Zilina are also in the group.

Elsewhere, Barcelona will recognise the threat of Ruben Kazan in Group D after the Russian side stunned them last season, whilst AC Milan, Real Madrid, Ajax and Auxerre meet in the 'Group of Death'.
