Oldham boss Paul Dickov will be without defender Jason Jarrett when his side host Yeovil at Boundary Park.
The utility player, who has made a successful switch from midfield to centreback this season, is suspended following his red card at Charlton last weekend.
DR Congo international defender Rodrigue Dikaba - who joined the Latics last week on a short-term contract - is in line to make his debut.
Yet striker Lewis Alessandra is sidelined with a thigh strain and veteran defender Sean Gregan is still recovering from an ankle injury.
Fellow defender Phil McGrath is set for a long spell on the sidelines due to a knee injury.
Striker Ryan Brooke is also out with a knee problem and goalkeeper Greg Fleming remains sidelined after he sustained a tear to his medial ligament.
Yeovil welcome midfielder Jean-Paul Kalala back into their squad.
Kalala, who spent two two seasons at Boundary Park before being released in summer 2009, was sent off late on in the Glovers' 2-1 defeat to Bristol Rovers a fortnight ago.
Elsewhere, Luke Freeman suffered no ill-effects to his leg injury when he turned out against Hartlepool last week and is expected to remain in contention for a place in Terry Skiverton's starting line-up.
However, Skiverton could ring the changes after seeing his side slip to three straight losses in all competitions, culminating in the home reverse against managerless Pools.
"We didn't turn up," he said of their latest effort at Huish Park. "It was one of the worst performances under me, especially at home. It stands out a mile."
