Macclesfield boss Gary Simpson is still without the services of striker Ricky Sappleton for the home clash with Chesterfield.
Sappleton is nursing a knee injury and is around a fortnight away from a return to full training.
Midfielder Richard Butcher is out for up to a month with medial ligament damage and is also around two weeks away from a return to training.
However, Hamza Bencherif, Paul Morgan and Ross Draper have all played in the last week and are available again.
The Silkmen have collected a solitary point from their opening three matches and lost 3-0 at Accrington last weekend.
Vice-chairman Andy Scott said: "We've seen enough from this group of players in other games to be confident that the Accrington match was the exception rather than the rule."
Chesterfield manager John Sheridan faces a selection dilemma in attack ahead of the trip.
Summer signing Craig Davies returns to contention after serving a three-match ban for his red card against Barnet on the opening day of the season.
Sheridan must decide whether to restore the 24-year-old to the starting line-up or stick with Jack Lester and Dean Morgan.
The decision could be taken out of Sheridan`s hands as Morgan, who made his debut in the 4-0 home win over Hereford last weekend, is nursing a minor knock.
On-loan Scunthorpe midfielder Ian Morris could come back into the reckoning after being sidelined since sustaining a knock against Barnet, but veteran defender Rob Page (Achilles) is struggling to be fit.
