Torres nets Reds' winner

Striker Fernando Torres came to Liverpool's rescue with his first Barclays Premier League goal since March to beat 10-man West Brom 1-0 at Anfield.

The Spain international volleyed home Dirk Kuyt's cross from the edge of the penalty area to end 65 minutes of frustration for the hosts.

It was his first goal for club or country in 11 matches and notched up Roy Hodgson's maiden league victory as Liverpool manager as James Morrison was sent off late on.
