Wycombe manager Gary Waddock could have defender Alan Bennett back in his squad for the visit of Macclesfield.
Bennett has missed the last two games with a hamstring strain but returned to training this week to put himself back in contention for a starting role.
Former Leeds midfielder Ian Westlake missed the 1-1 draw at Accrington last weekend after rolling his ankle in training and he is a doubt but Scott Davies will make a second debut for the club after rejoining on loan from Reading.
Striker Stuart Beavon is in contention for a starting spot after recovering from a broken leg. He came on for the final half hour last weekend and played a part in creating Matt Bloomfield's opener for the Chairboys.
Wycombe have conceded last-minute goals in the past two games to rob them of four points, and Waddock is hoping for a return to winning ways.
Macclesfield boss Gary Simpson has only two major injury absentees for the clash.
Simpson is still without the services of striker Ricky Sappleton and midfielder Richard Butcher.
Both players are nursing knee injures and are working their towards full fitness, although they are not expected to be ready for this weekend.
The struggling Silkmen have collected just two points from their opening five games and midfielder Paul Bolland accepts they must improve quickly.
Bolland said: "We all know how important that first win will be and what better place to do it than at Wycombe.
"I know people won't be expecting us to win but this league is very open as recent results have shown."
