Carlisle striker Richard Offiong has been ruled out for two to three weeks with a thigh problem.

The 26-year-old suffered the injury while on loan at non-league Darlington and has returned to Brunton Park for more extensive treatment.

Cumbrians physio Neil Dalton told his club's official website: "Richard had treatment over in Darlington last week and he has come back to us so that we can carry that on. We'll assess him and treat him this week and we expect him to be out for up to two to three weeks."

Offiong made six appearances for Darlo after joining the north east side on loan last month.
