Kink's double has really got Boro going

Middlesbrough manager Gordon Strachan is expecting match-winner Tarmo Kink to become a big hit on Teesside.

The Estonia midfielder came off the bench to hit a stunning late double and give Boro a 2-1 win over Burnley on Tuesday.

Strachan said: "We know he is a good player. We have been watching him since March and we know what he can do."

Kink's stoppage-time free-kick eased some of the pressure on Strachan, and the under-fire former Celtic boss is expecting plenty more star turns from the player.

Strachan added: "He is a sensitive lad and has maybe struggled a wee bit with the physical side here but he has a talent for striking a football and an eye for goal."
