As Owen Coyle prepares to travel down to Villa Park on Saturday, it's possible that the Bolton manager could be without three key players ahead of the 3pm kick-off.

Gary Cahill and Jussi Jaaskelainen will definitely miss out through suspension, and striker Kevin Davies could miss out after picking up a head injury against Arsenal last weekend.

Andy O'Brien could be set for a rare start in Cahill's place whilst Adam Bogdan will carry on in goal until Jaaskelainen's return. Sean Davis, Joey O'Brien, Jlloyd Samuel and Ricardo Gardner are also out through injury and Tamir Cohen is unavailable due to the Jewish holiday Yom Kippur.

Johan Elmander will be expected to lead the line upfront as Coyle looks to go 4-5-1 to iron out Villa's attacking threat in the same way Stoke City managed on Monday night.
