Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson is keeping tabs on Hoffenheim defender Isaac Vorsah, according to Setanta.com.
Vorsah has recently made the break through into the Ghana national team and is been wanted by clubs all over Europe.
Last year, Premier League club Stoke were rumoured to be interested but, since the 22-year-old has shot to fame on the international stage, he has attracted interest from bigger clubs.
And despite Liverpool’s debts, Vorsah could be the perfect signing for Roy Hodgson, as his contract has just one year to run.
This means the Anfield side are able to snap up the wonderkid on a free transfer at the end of the season – and Hodgson will look to agree a pre-contract deal as soon as possible.
However, there could be some interest in Vorsah in the January transfer window, with clubs looking to close some cut price deals to save Hoffenheim losing him for nothing.
The Bundesliga club will have been hoping Vorsah impressed at the World Cup in South Africa for Ghana to increase his potential value but, having started their first game he picked up an injury which kept him out of the rest of the tournament.
