Addicks swoop for Daniels

Published Add your comment

Charlton have signed West Brom goalkeeper Luke Daniels on a month's loan as cover for the injured Rob Elliot.

Elliot will be sidelined for three to four weeks after chipping a bone in his elbow in training last Tuesday.

"Luke's someone who has played regular first-team football, which was important," said Addicks boss Phil Parkinson. "He's joined us for a month and we look forward to working with him."

There are also a couple of departures from The Valley with Yado Mambo joining Eastbourne Borough on loan and fellow youngster Ben Davisson linking up with Bromley.
