Liverpool take on Northampton Town in the Carling Cup tomorrow on what could prove to be a special night for one Reds teenager.
David Amoo has been in impressive form for the Liverpool reserves of late, and is now targeting his maiden appearance at Anfield for Roy Hodgson's first team.
The 19-year-old made his Liverpool bow away at FK Rabotnicki in the Europa League, but has yet to be given the chance to play in front of the Kop for the senior squad.
A fleet-footed forward, Amoo is surely in contention for tomorrow's League Cup encounter - with Hodgson likely to hand fringe players and youngsters the chance to impress at Anfield.
And Amoo is relishing the prospect of making his home Liverpool debut.
"It was a great experience to play in Macedonia in front of such a big crowd and it would be even better to play at Anfield for the first team," he told Liverpool's official website.
"Obviously I've played there in the Youth Cup but this would be another level up. It would be great to be involved in some capacity.
"Fingers crossed, I can get into the squad. If I can do that, it would be great."
