Scunthorpe caretaker boss Ian Baraclough says his side can take positives from their Carling Cup defeat to Manchester United into Saturday's home clash with Ipswich.
Baraclough's men were thumped 5-2 by the competition holders but the scoreline flattered Sir Alex Ferguson's side.
"Apparently we had 24 shots on goal in the game. We'll look back and say we had no regrets and hopefully it will give my lads encouragement ahead of Saturday when we play Ipswich," said Baraclough.
He added: "Their goalkeeper was given man of the match and made 12 or 13 saves. I couldn't have asked for any more from the players there."
