Macclesfield notched their second win of the season thanks to two goals in as many second-half minutes which earned a 3-1 victory at Torquay.
The home side - who gave a home debut to right-back Danny Senda - had held sway for the opening spell with striker Chris Zebroski smashing a rising shot from just inside the penalty area off the upright after five minutes.
But Hamza Bencherif's bolt out of the blue for the blues rocked Torquay after 12 minutes when he let fly with a 25-yard effort.
It was the first home league goal the Gulls have conceded this term but parity was restored following a flowing five-man move in the 40th minute as the home side piled on the pressure.
Chris Robertson and Kevin Nicholson started a move that ended with Eunan O'Kane providing the final pass for last season's top scorer Elliot Benyon to convert from close range.
Ross Draper thumped in a 76th-minute volley to restore Macc's lead and then striker Emile Sinclair went solo from the halfway line before slotting in a brilliant third goal to make it 3-1 two minutes later.
