Eagles duo awarded new deals

Crystal Palace duo Lee Hills and Sean Scannell have signed new contracts.

Defender Hills, 20, and 21-year-old winger Scannell have been given one-year extensions to their deals despite sitting out most of the current season with knee injuries.

"Both players have suffered cruel luck with injury and will be looking to put this frustrating time behind them," Eagles boss George Burley told the club's official website.

"They are both great professionals, and these homegrown players fully deserve this extension to their contracts."
