Football News 24/7Brighton boss Gus Poyet has been named League One manager of the month.
The Uruguayan led Albion to four wins and a draw in September to lift them to the top of the table.
And the in-form Seagulls had further cause for celebration after goalkeeper Casper Ankergren landed the player of the month award.
Ankergren kept four clean sheets during the month and conceded just one goal.
