Hartlepool caretaker manager Mick Wadsworth could recall several key players for the visit of Peterborough.
Wadsworth opted to make five changes for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy victory over Bradford in midweek but looks set to revert to the team that beat Plymouth last weekend.
Antony Sweeney is a doubt as he is nursing a hamstring injury while James Brown and Billy Greulich (both ankle) are continued absentees.
Wadsworth said: "I think it would be difficult to change the team from last Saturday because it was such a good performance.
"If I did change it there would be one or two who would have good reason to say 'hang on a minute'. I thought they were superb at Plymouth in every shape and form."
Pools welcome second-placed Peterborough to Victoria Park hoping to improve on their dreadful home record, having shipped 15 goals in their five games so far this term.
Peterborough manager Gary Johnson will keep faith with goalkeeper Joe Lewis for the trip.
Lewis was at fault for Huddersfield's opening goal in the 3-2 defeat in midweek but will be between the posts against managerless Pools.
Captain Grant McCann is away on international duty with Northern Ireland but is also serving the third and final game of his suspension while Lee Frecklington could keep his place.
Frecklington returned to the starting line-up at Huddersfield after a knee injury and lasted the whole 90 minutes to put himself in contention.
Former Stockport winger Tommy Rowe - who has been playing at full-back this season - came off at half-time in last weekend's 1-0 win at Carlisle nursing a groin injury and is out.
That leaves record signing Ryan Bennett and midfielder James Wesolowski (both knee) as the only other injury victims at London Road.
