Gulls capture Oastler

Torquay have completed the loan capture of QPR midfielder Joe Oastler on a month-long deal.

The 20-year-old initially only started training with the League Two outfit on Thursday but a deal has now been struck between Neil Warnock and Paul Buckle, providing the Gulls boss with a much-needed extra body for Saturday's clash at Crewe.

Oastler made his QPR debut as a 71st-minute substitute in April's 1-0 league win over Watford, before going on to make his second appearance from the bench in the London club's 3-1 Carling Cup first-round defeat to Port Vale earlier this season.
