Hull defender Paul McShane has been given the all-clear following x-rays on the ankle injury that forced him out of the weekend draw at Leicester.

It was first feared the Republic of Ireland international had seriously damaged his ankle in a challenge with Steve Howard shortly before half-time, but scans have confirmed that not to be the case.

Hull manager Nigel Pearson said: "Paul is probably going to be available for Tuesday night, so it's good news on that front."
