Plymouth manager Peter Reid is hopeful he can bring in loan players to bolster his squad.

The Pilgrims lie 19th in League One after a difficult start to the season and despite Argyle's poor financial situation Reid is on the search for new faces to freshen up the squad.

"I would like to try to get some loan players in. I have made no secret of that," he told the Plymouth Herald.

"I think there is a possibility of that, but these players here should be good enough to win games as well.

"It's my job to get a better performance out of them and I will be concentrating on that. But, hopefully I will be able to bring some people in and I will be working on that as well."
