Kyel Reid will be sidelined for a month after suffering ankle ligament damage during Charlton's 4-0 defeat to Brighton on Saturday.

The 22-year-old was stretchered off against the Gulls, before undergoing a scan which confirmed the injury on Monday.

Reid, who came through the ranks at Barclays Premier League club West Ham, signed for the Addicks on a free in the summer after enjoying a successful loan spell last term.
