Bees name Southam skipper

Midfielder Glen Southam has been named Barnet's new captain.

Southam is taking over the armband from Anwar Uddin, with manager Mark Stimson wanting the defender "to concentrate on his game'.

Stimson added: "Glen is very capable of doing a good job in the role."

Southam, Uddin, Steve Kabba, Jake Cole and Mark Hughes have all worn the armband for the injury-hit Bees so far this season.
