Rams boss wants Moore

Derby have agreed a deal with West Bromwich Albion to extend the loan of Luke Moore by another month.

The 24-year-old striker has made two starts and three substitute appearances for the Rams, scoring one goal since his switch last month. Moore scored the opener in the recent 3-2 win over Doncaster and Rams manager Nigel Clough has been impressed with the former Villa striker since his arrival.

He told Rams Player: "Luke has come in, along with Shefki Kuqi and Ryan Noble, and given us real competition in the striking department. With little first-team football behind him this season he will continue to get stronger with each game and it is great news he is set to stay with us for another month."

Clough added: "He has been patient, sitting on the bench for a few games, but he has made an impact each and every time he has been on the pitch."
