Logan howler helps Baggies

Leicester goalkeeper Conrad Logan literally dropped West Brom's name into the hat for Saturday's Carling Cup quarter-final draw with a clanger that will haunt him for the rest of his playing days as his side lost 4-1 at the Walkers Stadium.

The Foxes number 13 was under no pressure when he went to collect Gianni Zuiverloon's overhit long ball but he failed to hold on when having seemingly caught it, presenting Somen Tchoyi with the simplest of finishes.

The goal put Albion back in command at a crucial period in the tie just after the hour mark when Nicky Shorey's own goal had cancelled out Simon Cox's composed finish from the first half. Steven Reid and Cox adding to the scoreline late on.
