Published Add your comment

Brentford are set to offer a contract to former Liverpool defender Stephen Wright.

The 30-year-old is a free agent after leaving Coventry over the summer and has been training with the Bees for the past two weeks.

Boss Andy Scott, who wants cover for regular right-back Mickey Spillane, said: "Stephen has done well in training and hopefully we can sort something out over the next few days."
