Tranmere manager Les Parry is assessing his attacking options ahead of the visit of MK Dons.

Enoch Showumni has not trained all week after sustaining a knock and is rated 50-50 for the weekend's game, but Parry will leave naming his squad until the last minute to give Showumni every chance of playing.

Zoumana Bakayogo is set to keep his starting place after Aaron Cresswell failed to train this week and is struggling to be fit because of a hip injury.

Scott Wootton has returned to parent club Manchester United and leaves a place to fill in the centre of defence. Marlon Broomes could return after playing 90 minutes for the reserves on his comeback from injury, while Nick Wood could also play.

Dale Jennings missed training on Thursday as a precaution but should be fit to face Karl Robinson's men.

MK Dons midfielder Peter Leven returns for the trip.

Leven missed the 1-0 win at home to Exeter last weekend with a one-match ban but will be back at Prenton Park.

On-loan QPR forward Angelo Balanta is still missing, though, as he serves the second game of a three-match suspension.

Captain Dean Lewington (knee) and former Germany international Didi Hamann (hamstring) have both joined in with some training this week but might not be ready for the weekend.

Winger Luke Chadwick limped through the end of the Exeter game with a knock and will be checked on Friday.

Midfielder Luke Howell will not feature after he became Steve Tilson`s first signing as Lincoln manager after agreeing a one-month loan deal.
