Macclesfield manager Gary Simpson has a few injury problems ahead of his side's clash with Burton.

Striker Emile Sinclair has been working hard in training to try and recover from an injured hamstring but is still two weeks away from a first-team return, while midfielder Richard Butcher should also be back in a fortnight after failing to recover from injury as quickly as first hoped.

Defender Shaun Brisley is still on crutches and will see a hip specialist next week while Greg Daniels turned an ankle in training and is doubtful for the visit of Paul Peschisolido's men.

Some good news for Simpson is that Lewis Chalmers and Hamza Bencherif have both trained this week and are available for the game.

Aaron Webster is expected to return to the Burton squad for the trip.

Webster missed the home win over Bradford with a calf problem and a dead leg but could ease Albion`s defensive problems after a week`s rest.

Darren Moore, Nathan Stanton, Ryan Austin, Paul Boertien and Andy Corbett have all missed games in recent weeks.

Stanton was only fit enough for a place on the bench against the Bantams and could start there again, while Boertien (calf) is set to remain sidelined.

Midfielders Russell Penn and Jimmy Phillips will hope to have done enough from the bench last week to get themselves into Paul Peschisolido`s starting line up, while striker Greg Pearson will also hope to be recalled.
