Delroy Facey could return to the Lincoln squad for the visit of Northampton.

The striker has been away on international duty with Grenada and has missed the last three matches.

Imps boss Steve Tilson believes his absence has been too long and has vowed to monitor the 30-year-old`s international commitments in future.

"Eighteen days away is too long," said Tilson, "I think he may have gone away too early. I don't think he needed to be away when he was, so that's something I've got to look into."

Gavin McCallum and on-loan Millwall striker Ashley Grimes are also options for Tilson should he wish to make changes to his forward line.

Recent signings Grimes, Luke Howell, Gavin Hoyte and Josh Gowling could be in line for their home debuts.

Northampton manager Ian Sampson is waiting on the fitness of striker Leon McKenzie before naming his squad.

McKenzie took his tally to five goals in three appearances at the weekend with the winner against Gillingham but struggles to play twice in four days because of nagging hip and knee injuries.

However, Sampson is keen for him to play at Sincil Bank with the option of resting him for next Saturday`s FA Cup trip to Forest Green if necessary.

Sampson saw Ryan Gilligan (knee), Liam Davis (back) and Marcus Hall (thigh) all pick up knocks in the 2-1 win on Saturday but expects the trio to be fit to start.

Forwards Courtney Herbert (foot) and Tadhg Purcell (knee) remain sidelined.
