Young Gunner makes Cumbrians move

Carlisle have completed the signing of Arsenal teenager Thomas Cruise on a one-month loan deal.

The defender, an England Under-19 international, is a regular in the Gunners' reserve side.

"As you might expect with him being at a club like Arsenal he's very good on the ball and they speak and think very highly of him," said manager Greg Abbott.

"They're a great club to deal with, and he has already shown an excellent attitude in the way he has conducted himself.

"It's no secret that we need cover in the left-back area and he's really keen to get involved, so we're all looking forward to working with him."
