Roberto Mancini will get it right at Manchester City, according to first-team coach David Platt.
The Italian boss is coming under increasing pressure following the club's third straight defeat. City lost 3-1 to Lech Poznan in the Europa League in Poland after going down to Arsenal and Wolves at the weekend.
Platt told BBC Radio Manchester: "The reports (that Mancini's job is under threat) are either false sometimes or certainly exaggerated.
"I have known Roberto Mancini for 20 years and he puts pressure on himself to succeed. We all do. That's why we have good players at the club. They want to win. They want to succeed. That's why defeats knock them down."
Dimitrije Injac gave the hosts the lead but Emmanuel Adebayor pulled City level against a team they had defeated 3-1 at Eastlands. However, late goals from Manuel Arboleda and Mateusz Mozdzen saw the Poles gain revenge in front of a partisan crowd.
Platt added: "They (the players) will put their boots back on in the morning and get back up very quickly."
