Rovers hoping to be looking Sharp soon

Doncaster boss Sean O`Driscoll has revealed that striker Billy Sharp could be back within a month.

The former Sheffield United forward injured his hamstring against the Blades a fortnight ago and was expected to be out for six weeks but could now return by the start of December.

O'Driscoll told the club's official website: "If you talk to Billy he says he wants to play next week. The injury was rescanned and from being a 7cm tear it is down to 4cm which is really good news. It enables us to do more. He's had one or two different types of treatment and hopefully he will be jogging before the end of the week. We don't want to rush it but touch wood, it is looking more like four rather than six weeks out at the minute."
