Ipswich boss Roy Keane insists he remains in the dark over any plans to extend his contract.

Keane's current deal expires at the end of the season and chief executive Simon Clegg told a supporters' club meeting on Thursday that a decision could be made soon.

Keane said: "Thinking about doing something, and doing something, can be completely different. It's up to the club. I still have seven or eight months left on my current one, so it's not much of a problem. I'm very relaxed. I'm very happy here, but in football you don't know what is behind the next corner."

Clegg said: "There is no line in the sand over a date, but a decision will be made and we are relaxed about it."
