Highly sought after midfielder Javier Pastore wants Argentina and Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi to join him at Palermo.

Pastore, nicknamed 'Kaka Argentino', who is also wanted by Real Madrid and Barcelona, said that Messi would be a good signing for the Italian side.

Speaking after Sunday night's 1-0 win over Genoa, Pastore said: "I know that many important teams want me, including Barcelona.

"I often speak with Messi, but I want to stay at Palermo. Actually I am going to tell him to come here!"

Pastore is obviously not being serious, because with a buyout clause of over £200 million, there are not many clubs who could afford the Barcelona hit-man.

This is the second time in recent weeks that Lionel Messi has been linked with a move away from Barcelona, after Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti said that he was seriously considering making a move for the darling of Barca.

Barcelona are unlikely to entertain the thought of selling their prized possession, but do not be surprise if Javier Pastore joins the little Argentine at the Nou Camp.
