Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has injury concerns for Walsall's visit to Dean Court.
Howe has a shortage of defenders as Ryan Garry, Shaun Cooper and Marvin Bartley are all struggling with injuries.
Garry is the most likely of the three to feature despite suffering a medial ligament strain, while Cooper is doubtful with a calf injury.
Bartley was forced off in the FA Cup win over Tranmere with a groin problem, although the extent of the damage has yet to be determined. Warren Cummings is likely to continue in defence if the trio fail to recover in time.
Lee Bradbury is likely to be available after missing the Tranmere game with a badly-cut finger and Michael Symes has returned to training following a shoulder problem and could make the squad.
Stephen Purches and Harry Arter both staked their claims for first-team places after playing 90 minutes for the reserves in midweek.
Walsall will be without Ryan McGivern while Martin Devaney is also battling to make it at Dean Court.
Full-back McGivern saw red for a crude challenge on Ian Craney during last weekend`s FA Cup first-round draw at Fleetwood, resulting in a three-match ban.
On-loan winger Devaney was granted permission to play in the tie after extending his stay from Barnsley but he was forced off shortly after half-time nursing a hamstring injury.
Scans have shown there is no tear to the muscle and he will be assessed ahead of kick-off, although he faces an uphill task being ready for Saturday.
Striker Darren Byfield (knee) remains on the sidelines and will see a specialist yet again, while previously on-loan centre-back Andrew Davies, who is nursing a thigh strain, has returned to parent club Stoke upon the completion of his month-long stint.
Winger Julian Gray has recovered from a virus and is available. Striker Alex Nicholls, meanwhile, staked his claim for a starting berth by bagging a hat-trick for the reserves in midweek.
