Carlisle manager Greg Abbott will select his starting line-up for the home clash with Southampton from the same squad.
The Cumbrians progressed to the northern area semi-finals of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy with a 3-1 win over Crewe in midweek and Abbott has no new injury or suspension problems.
Striker Mike Grella, on a month's loan from Leeds, is due to play his last game for Abbott's side before returning to Elland Road.
Long-term absentees Paul Thirlwell (knee) and Danny Livesey (groin) are edging closer to a return to action.
Midfielder Thirlwell, out since early September, is two to three weeks away and Livesey about a month.
Carlisle hope to leapfrog Saints back into the top six with a fifth home league win of the season.
Danny Butterfield could return to the Southampton squad.
The defender has missed the last three matches with a calf injury but resumed training this week.
Butterfield is likely to have to settle for a place on the bench at Brunton Park with Frazer Richardson slotting well in at right-back.
David Connolly scored on his return as a late substitute in the FA Cup against Shrewsbury last weekend after almost two months out with a stomach injury so boss Nigel Adkins has a fully-fit squad to choose from.
Jose Fonte and Rickie Lambert were rested against the Shrews and should return but Morgan Schneiderlin may sit out again as a booking would see him miss the following week's clash with promotion rivals Peterborough.
