Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe was full of praise for Josh McQuoid who struck a hat-trick for the second week running as Walsall were despatched 3-0.
The winger-turned-striker, who had also hit three in the 5-3 FA Cup defeat of Tranmere last weekend, headed home in the 28th and 70th minutes before completing his treble three minutes from time as the Cherries climbed third in the table.
Howe said: "I'm very happy for Josh. He's beginning to reap the rewards of all his hard work."
He added: "It's funny, sometimes the harder you work the luckier you get. He took his goals very well and hopefully he'll continue to do that.
"I'm delighted he has nailed down his position in the starting XI and is seeing the benefits of that.''
