The Football Association have overturned Abdul Osman's three-game ban following his red card in Saturday's draw with Port Vale.

But the FA have confirmed the player's red card still stands and will remain on his record, but Osman will not face a suspension, meaning his is available to face Barnet at the weekend. Osman was also in danger of missing games against Rotherham and the FA Cup tie at Sheffield Wednesday.

Manager Ian Sampson told the club's official website: "We're pleased that we decided to go ahead with the appeal. We're also delighted that such an important player will be available for selection this weekend."
