Arsenal striker Gilles Sunu is reportedly ready to leave the Emirates.
The 19-year-old Frenchman is reportedly unhappy about his lack of opportunities in the Arsenal first team, and the player has admitted that contact has been made from his homeland.
“Several teams in Ligue 1 have made contact with me,” Sunu reportedly told French press.
A powerful striker who can also play on the wing, Sunu impressed whilst on loan at Derby County at the end of last season and hoped to be more involved in Gunners activity this term.
However, opportunities have remained limited at the Emirates under Arsene Wenger, with Sunu unable to build on his appearances in the League Cup and Champions League last season.
Prolific for the Arsenal reserve side, Wenger is reportedly unwilling to let his compatriot leave the club on a permanent basis following his graduation up through the youth ranks to the second string.
However, Sunu is unlikely to get first team chances this season at Arsenal, and the player could be allowed to return to France on a temporary loan basis in a bid to gain more experience at the top level.
