Millwall have signed in-form Bournemouth striker Josh McQuoid on loan with a view to a permanent move in January.

The 20-year-old hit the headlines earlier this month when he scored hat-tricks in successive matches on his way to 12 goals for the season so far.

Lions boss Kenny Jackett has moved quickly to bolster his frontline by snapping up the newly-capped Northern Ireland international. McQuoid has signed initially on an emergency loan until January 4 and will go straight into the squad to face Preston on Saturday.
