Josh Walker insists Watford were wrong to let him leave on loan.
The midfielder joined Stevenage on loan deadline day and after scoring a 25-yard free-kick on his debut, has settled in well in his new surroundings.
But he believes he should have made more appearances at Vicarage Road and told the Watford Observer: "I've only been here for a couple of days but it feels like I've been here all season. The lads are different class and the camaraderie is brilliant."
He continued: "If I'm honest, I feel like I should have played more than I have for Watford. But I just want to enjoy my football for now and see what happens when my loan runs out in January.
"Whether I stay here or go back to Watford, I just want to be playing at as high a level as I can."
