Us keeper extends loan stay

Published Add your comment

Colchester goalkeeper Carl Pentney has extended his loan deal at Bath City by another month.

The 21-year-old, who signed on a non-contract basis for the Us in the summer following his release by Leicester, initially went to Blue Square Bet Premier side Bath on an emergency one-month loan to cover for injured shot-stopper Ryan Robinson.

Pentney has made five appearances since joining at the beginning of last month and although he has yet to keep a clean sheet, he has helped City to pick up 11 points from a possible 15.
