Bristol City boss Keith Millen has been named npower Manager of the Month for November.

Millen's side won three and drew one of their five matches during the month, with their only defeat coming at Leeds.

The most impressive victory was at Swansea, where Jon Stead's goal gave the Robins a 1-0 win. Successive home wins against Leicester and Sheffield United at the end of November helped the club edge away from the relegation zone.

"As always with this award, a manager accepts it on behalf of his coaching staff and players," said Millen.

"It is certainly nice to be recognised in this way but it is down to the whole team and not just one person.

"The performances in November have certainly improved our position in the league table and it is important we now build on that and continue our move up the division."
