Derby will wait until the new year before deciding whether to bring Shefki Kuqi back to Pride Park on loan.

The Swansea striker's stay with Nigel Clough`s side is set to expire after the Championship clash at Bristol City on Saturday.

"Kuqi has done a great job and he has played an important role," Rams chief executive Tom Glick told BBC Radio Derby. "But we will wait and see with him. It is one that we will evaluate in January as to whether we will extend."

Kuqi, 34, has scored two goals in eight league starts for Derby.
