Preston extend United starlet loan

Preston have been boosted after Manchester United youngster Ritchie De Laet extended his loan at Deepdale until Tuesday, January 4.

The versatile Belgian defender has already made four starts for Darren Ferguson's struggling side and will now be available over the busy festive period.

De Laet is eligible for Saturday's trip to Watford and could also feature in the games against Scunthorpe, Middlesbrough, Derby and Crystal Palace.
