Josh Low is Cheltenham`s only absentee ahead of their clash against Stockport.

The winger picked up a hamstring injury just before half-time in Tuesday`s home defeat to Southend and now faces a couple of weeks in the treatment room.

Substitute centre-back Steve Elliott also received a knock in midweek but should be okay to take his place in Mark Yates` matchday 18.

Yates admitted the 2-0 reverse to the Shrimpers was the Robins` worst performance of the season and he is looking for a reaction from his charges.

"Paul Simpson and Dave Kevan (County manager and coach) were here on Tuesday night and will have noted a few things about us but I`ve spoken to George (Rooney, Town`s chief scout) at length about Stockport and we know where we are able to hurt them. We`ll be fully ready for Stockport," Yates told the club`s official website.

"Stockport will fancy their chances but we need to take it one game at a time."

Stockport manager Paul Simpson looks set to have Mark Lynch available for the trip.

The right-back has been nursing a knee injury but seems certain to be passed fit, although he may be forced to settle for a place on the bench.

Several County players were suffering from illness earlier in the week and will be assessed, but Simpson has no major concerns.

The boss is hoping to bring in two players during the January transfer window in order to freshen up his depleted squad.

County currently sit one point above the drop zone and if Simpson wants to bring an experienced centre-half and striker to the club, he will need to off-load fringe players in order to balance the books.
