Arsenal will make an improved offer for Dinamo Zagreb defender Sime Vrsaljko after having one bid rejected already, according to Talksport.
The 18-year-old is in demand and highly rated as Zagreb have already rejected a similar offer from French giants Marseille last month.
Arsenal’s previous offer was thought to have included 16-year-old team mate Mateo Kovacic, who has been described as a cross between Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi.
Now, though, the Gunners are ready to go back with an offer of around £4.5 million plus substantial add ons, which Arsene Wenger hopes will swing the chase towards Arsenal.
Dinamo reportedly want around £6.5 million for the ‘future of Croatian football’ but Arsenal are willing to allow him to stay in Croatian until the end of the season.
