Brighton striker Glenn Murray is aiming to double his tally of goals by the end of the season after reaching 10 with a hat-trick in the 5-0 demolition of Leyton Orient.
The former Rochdale marksman is also backing his table-topping side to go on another impressive run after gaining their first league win in six attempts.
"I'm happy scoring goals and the aim is to double the 10 I've already scored,'' said the striker. "We also want to go on the sort of run which saw us go unbeaten for much of September and October. The belief has not changed."
Murray's contract expires at the end of the season and boss Gus Poyet believes that the 27-year-old has "never been happier" in his time with the Seagulls.
"Credit goes to the atmosphere at the club and to the group of players we have,'' said Poyet.
