Leicester have confirmed the signing of defender Sol Bamba from Hibernian for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old Ivory Coast centre-back is reunited with former international manager Sven-Goran Eriksson.

The former Dunfermline player could make his Foxes debut on Monday against Swansea in the npower Championship subject to international clearance.

Hibs boss Colin Calderwood had described the transfer as a "good deal for the club" and confirmed the funds would be passed on to him to strengthen his squad.
