Hull winger Peter Halmosi has left the club by mutual consent.

The 31-year-old Hungarian has not made a first-team appearance for the Tigers in over a year and, after agreeing terms on the remainder of his contract, has become a free agent.

Halmosi moved to the KC Stadium in July 2008 for a then club-record fee believed to be around £2million, signing a four-year deal.

But he went on to make only 27 appearances for the Humberside club, scoring just once in a February 2009 FA Cup fifth-round replay win over Sheffield United.
